Jets win final score 37-31.

A high scoring affair, this game was interesting from the start. If you are a Bills fan, you must be worried about the inconsistency of the offence, and the inability for Tyrod Taylor to make those crucial plays.

The first quarter started off as a defensive battle, with the Jets struggling to move the ball early, yet did capitalise on good field position to walk away with two field goals. A worrying sign for the Jets though, was the inability for Darell Revis to mark up against another speedy receiver in Goodwin. Goodwin burnt Revis for an 84-yard touchdown to give the Bills the lead at one stage. Yet Fitzpatrick lead his team up the field through the air, gashing the Bills continually whilst throwing a lovely touchdown to Eric Decker. Brandon Marshall went down with a worrying knee injury, yet came back later in the half and did continue playing through until the end of the game.

The half finished with the Jets leading the Bills 20-10, on the back of Matt Forte the Jets took the lead and were starting to establish their dominance in the run game. Yet to open the second half the Bills game out and scored two touch downs within three minutes, with a Tyrod Taylor bomb to Salas that he took to the house, and a defensive fumble that was returned for the touchdown. At this point in the game the Bills looked to have taken the ascendency, converting two quick opportunities to stun the Jets.

Yet Ryan Fitzpatrick and Matt Forte came alive in the second half of the game. With forte continually finding room to run, and Fitz executing relatively easy throws against a surprisingly leaky Bills secondary. It was on the back of Fitzpatrick finishing the day with 374 passing yards, and one passing touchdown, combined with Matt Forte rushing 100 yards and rushing three touchdowns, that gave the Jets the competitive edge. The Jets almost had three separate receivers go over 100 yards for the day, just displaying their depth at the position.

Whilst the Bills did look good at times, their inability to get the run game going, and the poor throws/ decisions by Tyrod Taylor cost this team. It did not help that the Bills defense besides Jerry Hughes looked relativity ineffective.

In the end the Jets defense was too good when it mattered, combining this with the potent offence that New York now has, the Bills tried to get the game back, but poor decisions and questionable play calls cost them in the end.
