Melvin Gordon- Last week we saw a tough physical game where the chargers took a close game (for once) against the defending Superbowl champion Denver Broncos. Throughout this game we quietly saw Gordon accumulated over 90 yards against the Broncos. The Falcons through six games haves surrendered the 7th highest total to running backs this season.
Allen Robinson- Whether you play the Saints or Raiders its always a good idea to start whatever skill position player or Quarterback you have against these so called "defenses". In this case a player that has underwhelmed so far this season is Robinson considering the mammoth production he showed last season. If Bortles and Arod can't get in a rhythm against Oakland then there are serious concerns in Jacksonville.
Denver Broncos Defense- The Texans offense finally became respectable against the Indianapolis Colts where if not for two late game winning drives the Texans would have fallen. DeAndre Hopkins got plenty of targets but due to the inaccuracy of Brock Osweiler missed too many opportunities. However, Lamar Miller finally broke free running for over 149 yards and a touchdown showing some much needed balance in Houstons attack. Week seven will showcase Osweiler going back to Denver where the Broncos defense are world beaters whereas the Colts are quite the opposite. Osweiler will need to show his contract worth by not missing wide open throws because the Broncos defense will not be as generous as the Colts.
Alex Smith- Smith is in a fortunate stretch after facing an inept pass defense in Oakland last week will now square off against the Saints who are bad if not worse situation then the Raiders when it comes in stopping the pass.
*Honorable Mentions* Marcus Mariota, Andy Dalton, LeGarrette Blount
Duds
Antonio Brown- One one is questioning Brown's elite talent on the field but even the greats will have a hard time to find success when Landry Jones is your starting signal caller. In seven games last season, Jones completed 32 of 55 passes for 513 yards, with three touchdowns and four interceptions. These numbers don't give when confidence especially when Bill Belichick is crafting a master plan.
Kyle Rudolph- Although Rudolph is statistically having one of his best seasons the Vikings will face a physical Eagles defense that is the second best when it comes to tightends
Golden Tate: The Redskins have won four straight and large part has been due to strong defensive performances. Through the air Josh Norman has become more comfortable in Washington's scheme and opposing receivers are having trouble finding the endzone. Tate came alive last week against the Rams finally reciprocating what he did last season but don'k for a similar performance to last week.
*Dishonourable Mentions* DeAndre Hopkins, Matt Forte, Stefon Diggs
